About

What is Quiltbag Cabaret?

Quiltbag Cabaret is a regular arts and performance event in Oxford. It is a space for queer, feminist and womanist people and our allies to socialise and make art together. The Cabaret is currently on hiatus, but we are holding monthly Crafternoons at the Barracks Lane Community Garden – see the home page for details.

The evening alternates between performances and arts and crafts activities. You can find out more about who has performed at Quiltbag Cabaret in the Performers section. At every event there is a knitting and sewing group, free art materials to play with, and one other facilitated art activity.

At each event we hold a raffle to raise money for a charity or non-profit organisation that promotes gender and sexual equality. You can see a list of charities we have supported on the Charities page
